4K content is expected to be the standard of the future, or at least for the foreseeable future which is why companies like Microsoft and Sony are putting out consoles that will support the resolution. Now if you’re an Xbox gamer looking to take advantage of the Xbox One X’s capabilities and your 4K television, the latest Xbox system update might be of interest.

In a post on Reddit (via Eurogamer), Microsoft has recently issued a system update to the Xbox One in which gamers will now be able to filter games based on resolution and display. As you can see in the screenshot above, gamers can now choose to filter their games based on whether they are 4K ready or if they are HDR ready.

It’s not exactly a groundbreaking feature, but if you’re looking for games that can truly take advantage of your setup, then these filters could come in handy. Unfortunately it seems that for now, the update has only been rolled out to those in the Xbox One’s alpha test group, but we expect that it should eventually be made available to everyone else. The new filters are in addition to gamers being able to sort games based on platform, like Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox 360, and so on.
