There’s a new ZenBook Pro now and ASUS says that the new one is the thinnest and lightest ZenBook Pro it has ever made, not to mention that it’s also billed as being the fastest. Despite the “fastest ever” claim, the specs aren’t exactly top of the line. There is one great feature that ASUS has added to this notebook which makes it stand out from the crowd.

The new ASUS ZenBook Pro UX550 is powered by Intel’s 7th Generation Core i7 processors paired with 16GBof RAM, a 512GB PCIe SSD, and NVIDIA’s GTX 1050 Ti graphics processor. The notebook also features a 15.6 inch full HD resolution multi-touch display.

Two Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports are onboard alongside two USB 3.1 Type-A ports. There’s a fingerprint sensor with support for Windows Hello. The ASUS Pen is supported for ultra-precise sketching, annotating, and writing. The internals are packaged inside a sleek 4 lbs aluminum body for easy portability.

The feature that sets it apart from most rivals is fast charging. ASUS has added fast charging technology to its new ZenBook Pro. The company claims that the notebook can be charged up to 60 percent in 49 minutes.

ASUS has listed the ZenBook Pro UX550 on its website now. Prices for the notebook start at $1,699.
