Apple’s new iPhones will feature wireless charging and if you’re looking for some new accessories that will let you take advantage of the feature, you’ll be pleased to learn that Belkin has announced the Boost Up wireless charging pad for the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and the iPhone X.

As far as wireless chargers are concerned, the Boost Up seems to be pretty standard in terms of its features. It is a Qi-compatible charger which means that you could use it for non-iPhones as well as long as they are Qi-compatible. They will offer charging levels up to 7.5W and will also be able to charge through cases up to 3mm thick, so if your case is thin enough you won’t have to remove it to charge.

The Belkin Boost Up will be available for purchase starting on the 15th of September where it will be priced at $60 and will be available via Belkin’s website or Apple. Belkin is probably not alone in offering iPhone-specific chargers, and like we said since the new iPhones rely on the  Qi standard, if you have a Qi wireless charger at home you should not have any issues using it.

In the meantime Apple also unveiled their own wireless charging mat called AirPower that is only expected to ship next year. From what we can tell it is basically a wider mat that will support the charging of multiple devices at once.
