At the moment Apple’s iPhones are offered in five different color options, but with the upcoming iPhone 8, Apple is rumored to pare down the color options, maybe to create a more “exclusive” feel. In fact one of the rumor color options we have heard is that Apple will offer it in a “blush gold” finish, and now a leaked photo seems to have “confirmed” it.

In a tweet by Benjamin Geskin (via 9to5Mac), he has posted an image of what appears to be the leaked SIM tray for the upcoming iPhone 8. Now it could be the lighting of the image, but the SIM tray in the photo does look significantly darker compared to the other gold options that we have seen offered by Apple in the past.

Like we said, the new blush gold finish could be one of the ways that Apple could help differentiate the iPhone 8 from the other iPhones that will be launched at the event. Alternatively it could simply be a new color that Apple will offer to all future iPhone customers, but we can’t say that with certainty at this point.

In any case take it with a grain of salt, but it is about a week left of waiting before we get the official confirmation regarding the 2017 iPhones, so do check back with us on the 12th of September for the details.
