Blizzard has traditionally been a maker of PC games, but in recent times we have seen the company expand their offerings to consoles. So the next question is, what about other platforms such as mobile, which we’re seeing companies like Sony and Nintendo attempt to conquer? Turns out that Blizzard could have something in the works.

We know that Blizzard already has games on mobile like Hearthstone, but a recently spotted job listing suggests that this could be a game designed specifically for mobile. The job ad reads (via Icy Veins), “Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an experienced Unity mobile client engineer to work on an unannounced MMO RTS project.”

“The ideal applicant has an unwavering passion for mobile development and solving engineering problems unique to mobile app environments.” Note that Hearthstone is also powered by the Unity engine so it would not be the first time Blizzard has used it for their games. Also the listing has since been pulled which suggests that it could have either been posted in error or maybe it gave away more information than Blizzard would like.

BlizzCon 2017 is coming up this November and it is usually a platform that Blizzard uses to announce new games. Perhaps we will learn more about this game at the event, or maybe it won’t be coming anytime soon, but it definitely sounds like it could be worth keeping an eye on.
