Blizzard’s Overwatch is one of the more popular games available at the moment and we’re sure that there are many who are curious about it. Unfortunately for gamers Blizzard does not have a trial version of the game available yet, which means that you’ll have to purchase it and then figure out if it’s the game for you.

Alternatively you could wait until next week because according to Blizzard, they will be making Overwatch free to play next weekend. Note that gamers will still have to purchase the game if they want to keep playing it after the free weekend has ended, but from the 22nd to the 25th of September, gamers will be able to take the game for a free spin.

The best part is that there will be no limitations to what gamers can do during the free weekend. According to Blizzard, “For this free weekend, we’re making Overwatch’s full roster of 25 heroes and 16 maps available for play in a variety of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade. Players will also have the ability to level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock a variety of different customization options.”

Gamers who choose to purchase the game after the free weekend will be able to pick up where they left off. This is not the first time Blizzard has hosted a free weekend for Overwatch, and we doubt it will be the last either. The Overwatch Free Weekend will be applicable for PS4, Xbox One, and PC gamers.
