There is a lot of hype surrounding Google’s new Pixel handsets now that all of their major rivals have already been announced. Google has confirmed when the new handsets will be unveiled but it hasn’t confirmed much more than that. The Pixel XL 2 has been spotted at the FCC where the filing has revealed the manufacturer that will be making this device for Google.

The Pixel 2 was first spotted at the Federal Communications Commission last month. The filing revealed that HTC would be the manufacturing partner for this device.

We now have similar information for the Pixel XL 2. It has received its FCC certification. The listing has revealed that LG is going to be Google’s manufacturing partner for this new device.

If reports are to be believed, the LG-made Google Pixel XL 2 is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor with a squeezable frame. It’s expected to feature a 6 inch 18:9 display, an always on display, and water resistance.

No further details have been revealed in the filing so we’ll have to wait until the official event to find out more about these devices.

Google is due to unveil its new Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 flagship smartphones on October 4th. More information about the specs, pricing, and availability will be revealed then.
