As per Apple’s announcement, the Apple Watch Series 3 will be offered in an LTE variant for those who want to be “free” of their iPhone. Carriers in the US have since announced data plans for the Apple Watch priced at $10 a month, but for some reason T-Mobile decided that they will only offer users 3G speeds on the device.

Naturally this did not go down well with T-Mobile customers who felt it was a bit unfair, and the good news is that T-Mobile has heard you guys loud and clearly. The carrier’s CEO John Legere has since taken to Twitter to backtrack on the carrier’s previous claims, and is now saying that T-Mobile will offer Apple Watch Series 3 users unlimited 4G LTE connectivity at $10 a month.

It is unclear why T-Mobile even had the restrictions in the first place, although we guess given what the Apple Watch can do we guess maybe 4G LTE speeds might not even be that necessary in the first place, but then again considering that you’ll be paying the same price as other carriers, it is understandable why many felt that they might be getting “cheated”.

In any case this is good news for customers and for those interested, the Apple Watch is currently available for pre-order and will be shipping out to customers on the 22nd of September.
