A part of its Galaxy A (2017) series, the Galaxy A5 (2017) was first unveiled in January this year. Samsung isn’t selling this handset officially in the United States but retailer B&H is selling this handset to customers in the country. It’s also providing a one-year warranty for the Galaxy A5 (2017). Customers who want one can now purchase an unlocked Galaxy A5 (2017) from B&H.

The Galaxy A5 (2017) is a premium mid-range smartphone from Samsung. It has a 5.2 inch full 1080p HD AMOLED display with an octacore Exynos 7880 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

Additional specs include 32GB of storage, a 16 megapixel rear and 16 megapixel front camera, fingerprint scanner, Android 7.0 Nougat, and a 3,000mAh battery. The handset is also more durable than its predecessor as it’s both dust and water resistant.

B&H only has the gold color option for the Galaxy A5 (2017) in stock at this point in time. It should start selling the handset in black and blue colors also in the near future. This is an unlocked version of the Galaxy A5 (2017) with dual-SIM support and is fully compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile.

Verizon and Sprint users are out of luck, though. The unlocked Galaxy A5 (2017) can now be purchased from B&H in the United States for $329.99.
