If you’re not willing to buy a new car just to get Alexa functionality on the road, then maybe you should check out Garmin’s new product. Garmin and Amazon have launched a new device that looks kind of like the Amazon Echo Dot. It’s meant to go in your car where it’s going to put the full range of Alexa skills just a voice command away.

The Garmin Speak is going to sit on the car’s dash and provide access to Alexa. The Speak actually integrates Alexa through the car’s stereo so you won’t be limited to a tiny speaker if you ask Alexa to play music, audiobooks, read you the news, and more. The audio will actually be routed through the car’s sound system.

Garmin’s turn-by-turn navigation feature can be accessed easily just by saying “Alexa, ask Garmin.” Since users get the full range of Alexa skills, they will also be able to control their smart devices at home as well as place orders on Amazon without having to get out of the car.

The Garmin Speak will use the paid smartphone’s data connection to remain connected to the internet. Customers who are interested in picking one up can head over to the company’s website and purchase the Garmin Speak for $150.
