Google today announced that it’s adding two new products to the Google Home lineup: Google Home Mini and Google Home Max. The former is a smaller device that’s meant for individual rooms while the Max is the “biggest and best-sounding” Google Home product from the company yet. Both come with Google Assistant baked in.

Google is making Assistant more accessible than ever at home with the Google Home Mini. It has been designed to fit naturally in any room. It’s about the size of a donut with a sleek and smooth design that’s devoid of corners or edges.

The fabric enclosure lets through both light and sound. The little device projects 360-degree sound and with its far-field microphones, it can even hear users when there’s ambient noise or music is playing. Available in Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral colors, the Google Home Mini costs $49.

Google Home Max relies on artificial intelligence to redefine audio. It has 4.5 inch high-excursion woofers to offer high-fidelty sound. The company says that it’s 20 times more powerful than the original Google Home, it can “play loud, really loud.”

Google Home Max is the company’s first speaker with Smart Sound. It’s a new AI-powered audio experience which enables Max to adapt to the user’s environment, context, and preferences. It automatically adjusts for where the Max is placed in a room and dynamically tunes sound within seconds when it’s moved. It supports Bluetooth and even has an auxiliary port. Available in Chalk and Charcoal colors, Google Home Max costs $399.

Google Home Mini can be pre-ordered today at the Google Store, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Verizon, and more. It will be released on October 19th. The Google Home Max will be released later this year. Pre-orders will begin on November 13th.
