Recently we have been hearing rumors that HTC could have an Android One handset in the works called the HTC U11 Life, which based on the name would be a variant of the HTC U11 flagship smartphone. Now in a recent tweet by Android developer LlabTooFeR, the alleged specs of the handset have been leaked.

According to the tweet, the HTC U11 Life will be an Android One handset which imeans in terms of hardware specs, you probably shouldn’t expect too much. The tweet claims that the phone will feature the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset and will also come with 3-4GB of RAM and 32-64GB of storage.

It is also rumored to feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display, dual 16MP rear-facing cameras, a 2,600mAh battery, and despite it being an Android One handset which are usually known to be low-end budget devices, the HTC U11 Life is said to feature Edge Sense, which is the squeezable frame feature found in the HTC U11.

It will also be IP67 certified and will come with Android 8.0 Oreo preinstalled. We have heard rumors that apart from the HTC U11 Life, HTC could also have another high-end HTC handset in the works that will feature a near bezel-less display. No word on when the handset will be announced, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
