It was reported earlier this week that Microsoft’s Edge browser could soon go multi-platform. The very next day, Microsoft officially announced that it was launching Edge for iOS and Android. Edge was initially released for iOS and Microsoft said that the Android version would arrive shortly. Today, it has rolled out Microsoft Edge for Android and it’s now available for download.

The Microsoft Edge for Android beta is now available for download from the Google Play Store. Edge users will find that most of the features that they already use on Windows 10 PCs are present on the mobile iteration of this browser, such as Reading List, Reading View, New Tab Page, and more.

Microsoft Edge for Android also has the ability to continue on PC. This feature allows users to immediately open the page they’re browsing on mobile on their PC seamlessly. They can save it to work on later as well when they’re on the PC.

Since it’s still in beta, several advanced features are missing. Cortana isn’t integrated and it’s also not possible to draw on webpages. There’s no support for ad-blocking, extensions, and syncing tabs. It may be a while before these advanced features are released for the Android version of Microsoft Edge.

Those who want to take it for a spin can head over to the Google Play Store right now and download the beta version of Microsoft Edge for Android. It’s compatible with devices running Android 4.4 KitKat and up.
