Microsoft Edge, the new browser that the company built from the ground up for Windows 10, might be released for iOS and Android soon. Rumor has it that Microsoft is going to make its Edge browser multi-platform by the end of this year. Bear in mind that these are just rumors at this point in time, there has been no indication as yet from Microsoft which could suggest that Edge will be making its way to iOS and Android.

Microsoft Edge has been well received by the Windows faithful after Internet Explorer became the punchline for all web browser jokes. Microsoft has continued to improve Edge’s feature set over the past year and people have been genuinely curious if it has any intention of releasing Edge for iOS and Android.

According to the latest rumors, Microsoft is planning to make Edge multi-platform by the end of this year. What this means is that the company now has three months to roll out the iOS and Android versions of its web browser.

It’s also claimed that Edge on iOS and Android will have all Bing services integrated, these include services like page translation and web search. It would make sense for the company to do this.

There’s still no clarity on this from Microsoft’s end so take this rumor with a grain of salt until we know more about Microsoft’s plans for Edge.
