IO Interactive today confirmed that it’s going to release the Hitman Game of the Year Edition next month. This particular edition of the popular title is going to bring a new campaign as well as bring back Elusive Targets. The Game of the Year Edition also includes the complete first season of the game and a host of other new content as well. This is IO Interactive’s first new content release since it became an independent studio.

The Game of the Year Edition of Hitman is going to bring new challenges, suits, and weapons. There will also be new Escalation Contracts and a brand new “Patient Zero” campaign. There are improvements to existing features, new lighting enhancements to all locations, and a few more surprises.

The complete first season is included in this edition. This means all seven locations, all bonus missions, Challenge Packs, Escalation Contracts, Feature Contracts, and more will be included in this iteration of Hitman. That’s more than 100 hours of gameplay. Players will also get new weapons, costumes, and more.

The new Patient Zero campaign will have Agent 47 racing against the clock to prevent a virus from spreading after a contingency plan to unleash global havoc is triggered following a routine elimination of a target. This four-mission campaign covers different locations in the game with each location being re-worked from the original settings with new gameplay opportunities.

Hitman – Game of the Year Edition will be released digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 7th. It will cost $20 for those who already own the Hitman title.
