Nintendo unveiled its SNES-styled 3DS XL in August this year. It came after the company launched a Super Famicon-themed New 3DS XL in Japan. This version swapped out the Famicom logo for the SNES. However, there was a caveat. Nintendo only released this device in Europe at that time. That changes today. Nintendo is now bringing its SNES-styled 3DS XL to the United States.

Nintendo is selling this 3DS XL SNES console exclusively via Amazon in the United States. Those who are interested in picking one up can head over to Amazon right now and pre-order one for $199.99. It’s going to be released on November 27th.

Nintendo fans will immediately recognize the stylized purple features that the original U.S. version of the SNES had. Nintendo has recreated them for this particular model of the 3DS XL. They replace the rainbow colored highlights found on the European version.

The company is offering customers a code for the downloadable version of Super Mario Kart so that they can, once again, spend long hours playing the game. Talk about a walk down memory lane.

Customers who want to buy this device from Nintendo can head over to Amazon right now and place a pre-order for the 3DS XL SNES console.
