HMD Global, the Finnish company that’s now making Nokia-branded smartphones, has added another model to its lineup. The company officially unveiled the Nokia 7 today. The lineup already includes the low-end Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, the mid-range Nokia 6, and the high-end Nokia 8. This new handset is kind of in between the existing devices when you look at the specs. It’s certainly no where near the new flagship smartphone that people have been expecting from HMD Global.

The Nokia 7’s design is quite similar to the other handsets in the company’s lineup so there are no surprises there. It’s frame is fashioned out of aluminum that’s coupled with a vacuum molded back that’s protected by Gorilla Glass.

The Nokia 7 has a 5.2 inch full HD LCD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor under the hood. It’s going to be available with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

There’s also a 16 megapixel camera with Zeiss lens and dual-tone LED flash as well as a 5 megapixel front camera. The handset is IP54 or splashproof so don’t dunk it in the water. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Nokia 7 is going to be available for purchase in China starting October 25 for $377 and $408 for the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants, respectively. HMD Global is yet to confirm when the handset will be launched in other markets across the globe.
