Ever since the OnePlus 5 went out of stock, there were rumors that perhaps the company is going to release a new handset soon. OnePlus did launch the OnePlus 3T around the same time last year so naturally, the rumors have been about a OnePlus 5T. The company itself has said nothing so far to suggest that it’s working on such a device. A new OnePlus 5T leaked render suggests that the handset will jump on the bezel-less bandwagon as well.

The flagship smartphones this year have set a trend with their bezel-less smartphones. The OnePlus 5T leaked render suggests that it’s also going to move to the 18:9 aspect ratio for the display. This means that the device will have more of a bezel-less look even though it won’t probably stretch the bezel’s limits as much as the Galaxy S8 does, for example.

The fingerprint sensor would have to be relocated because of this and if the render is anything to go by, it’s going to be relocated to the back. The OnePlus 5T is apparently going to have a dual camera at the back, just like the existing OnePlus 5 handset, so that’s not going to come as a surprise.

Whether or not this device is actually in the pipeline remains to be seen. There hasn’t been much to go on except circumstantial evidence so the situation won’t really be clear until next month when OnePlus is expected to unveil a new smartphone.
