If you’re in the market for more hard drive storage, check out the new products from Seagate. The company today announced that it’s expanding its IronWolf, IronWolf Pro, and BarraCuda Pro hard drive models to offer capacities of up to 12TB for NAS (Network Attached Storage) and desktop machines. The 12TB drives are great for creative professionals who require a lot of space to store content such as 4K footage.

The company says that its latest portfolio of 12TB drives is designed for the media storage needs of today. They’re great for augmented reality, virtual reality 4K resolution, and 360-degree video content. They also offer scalability for the future with improved space and speed.

The company says that its 12TB BarraCude Pro hard drive is the fastest, highest-capacity and “most reliable” hard drive that’s available on the market today for desktop computers. It’s meant for demanding data management needs like creative editing workflows to gaming.

It has a spin speed of 7,200 rpm and also has 256MB cache size for improved loading times. While the 12TB storage might be overkill for the average user, it’s going to be very useful for those who work with 4K or virtual reality content.

Seagate’s new 12TB hard drive is expected to be released soon for $530.
