The next addition to Ubisoft’s popular Assassin’s Creed franchise is going to arrive later this month. Players will be heading to ancient Egypt this time around. Ubisoft has now confirmed the minimum and recommended PC specs for this title. It has also detailed some of the new features that will be available to players on PC.

The minimum PC specifications for Assassin’s Creed Origins include a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-2400s or 3.9GHz AMD FX-6350 processor with 6GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 or AMD R9 270 graphics card.

The recommended specifications include a 3.5GHz Intel Core i7-3770 processor or 4.0GHz AMD FX-8350 processor with 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX760 or AMD R9 280X graphics card. Both require Windows 7 SP1 and higher. It will be possible to play the game in 4K if the PC’s specs allow it.

Ubisoft has also revealed that the game’s download size is going to be around 45GB so make sure you have enough free space on your PC. Moreover, there’s also going to be a Day 1 update but Ubisoft hasn’t defined the update’s exact size yet.

A performance benchmark has been built-in to help PC players validate their custom settings. The framerate is kept as close as possible to the targeted max at all times with dynamic resolution rendering.

Ubisoft has also confirmed that the development team is already working on PC updates so other features will be released after the game is launched. Assassin’s Creed Origins PC release takes place on October 27th.
