Earlier today we reported that Nintendo would be issuing an update to its fighting game ARMS that would bump it to version 4.0. With the update, it is also expected that Nintendo would be introducing a new fighting arena and a new fighter, and sure enough all has since been revealed which you can check out in the trailer above.

The new fighter in question is called Misango. This is the third playable character that has been added to the game since its release, and is actually the second new character introduced to the game. Since the game’s release, Nintendo has made Max Brass (who is one of the final boss characters) playable, which was then followed by Lola Pop who is the first new character, and now we have Misango.

Misango will be getting his own stage which is Aztec-inspired. As expected the character will also be getting his own set of “arms”, one of which appears to be scorpion-like in design and has the ability to move on the ground and rise up to strike at enemies. The update is free of charge, of course, so if you haven’t updated your ARMS already, now is a good time to do so and to check out the game’s latest fighter.
