Back in 2014 when the new PS4 and Xbox One consoles were announced, Ubisoft made a rather interesting decision regarding its Assassin’s Creed franchise. They decided to release two titles, one of which was Assassin’s Creed Unity for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4, and Assassin’s Creed Rogue which was for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Now it looks like Ubisoft could have a HD version of Rogue in the works, thanks to a tweet by AccessTheAnimus in which listings on various Italian retailers’ websites are suggesting that the game could be real. The listings have also suggested that the release of the HD version of Rogue could be on the 18th of March, 2018.

Assuming that this information is accurate, we’re not sure what we can expect from the HD version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue, other than the probability that we’ll see improved graphics. Whether or not there’ll be changes made to the gameplay, or if there will be additional content is unclear, but if you did not get a chance to experience the game back then, perhaps come next year you could.

No official announcement has been made, but the listing does hint that we could be close to getting one, so stay tuned and check back with us at a later date for more details if there are any to be had.
