Earlier this October at Google’s Pixel 2 event, the company unveiled two new Google Home devices in the form of the Google Home Mini and the Home Max. The former has since been released and is essentially a smaller version of the Google Home, while the latter has yet to be released and is basically a larger Google Home.

However it seems that we might finally have our release date, thanks to a recent listing on Best Buy (via 9to5Google) in which the device was listed as having a release date of the 11th of December, 2017. Note that the current listing on Best Buy has since removed the 11th of December release date, so either the date was listed wrongly, or Best Buy posted it too early, but either way we’ll have to wait and see.

However we can assume that Google will want to cash in on the holiday sales, which means that a release ahead of Christmas wouldn’t be completely out of the question. The device in question is priced at $399 which is rather steep compared to the Google Home and Home Mini, but if you’re looking for larger and louder speakers with some smarts built into it, then this could be worth keeping an eye out for.
