If you’ve owned a Nintendo DS handheld console, there’s a good chance that you’re familiar with the Ace Attorney series, which has also found its way onto other platforms. Now the good news is that if you’ve enjoyed the series, you’ll be pleased to learn that Capcom will be bringing Ace Attorney onto the Switch.

This is according to a recent interview with Japanese publication Jiji (via Takashi Mochizuki) in which Capcom’s COO confirmed the company’s plans. According to Kotaku UK, they have learnt that not only is Capcom developing a new title for the Switch, but there are plans for at least three Ace Attorney games.

Two of which are compilations of the older titles and are planned for a release in the first half of the 2018-2019 financial year (which takes place between April 2018 to October 2018). So far Capcom has only confirmed that they’ll be bringing Ace Attorney to the Switch, but Kotaku UK’s report has suggested that the compilations are meant to lead up to something bigger, which like we said above will be for a new title for the Switch.

Details are scarce but it is said to be already in the works where they are aiming for a late 2018 release on the Switch as well as mobile. Either way we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
