Not only can you use Google’s search engine to find restaurants and places to visit, you can also use it to find jobs. Google launched its built-in jobs search engine earlier this year and the company has now announced that it’s making the feature even better by rolling out some new improvements. These are the basic improvements that users felt the need for after the initial launch of this feature.

Google says that since this feature was launched, it has seen more than 60 percent of employers showing jobs in Search and has connected tens of millions of people to new job opportunities.

Based on the feedback from job seekers, it has made some improvements to the feature. Users will now see salary information for job postings. It will display estimated salary ranges alongside many jobs based on title, location, and employer. The estimates are drawn from sources like PayScale, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn.

Many users want to have control over the location that Google uses to match them to jobs. The company has added an easy way for users to tell Google what search area to use when searching for jobs that match their query.

In a couple of weeks, it’s also going to add the ability to save jobs inside Google Search. Each posting will be accompanied by a bookmark button so saving jobs will be as easy as a single tap.
