Heads up Hearthstone players, if you’re looking forward to additional Hearthstone content, you’ll be pleased to learn that Blizzard at BlizzCon 2017 has announced the next expansion that they’ll launching for the game. Dubbed Kobolds & Catacombs, this will be the latest expansion for Hearthstone and also part of the revamped expansion system that Blizzard announced earlier this year.

According to Blizzard, “Azeroth’s rat-like, candle-loving cave folk—the kobolds—have been digging deep beneath the surface for millennia. Their catacombs stretch on for miles, wending through forbidden tombs and breaking through the walls of long-forgotten treasure vaults. A hoard of glorious loot is there for the taking—if you can survive the dangers that lurk in those uncharted tunnels!”

The Kobolds & Catacombs expansion will also see Blizzard introduce a feature called Dungeon Runs which is a free and repeatable single-player mode in the game. There will be legendary weapon collectible cards for all classes in the game, a new “Recruit” keyword, and 135 new cards that will be added to the overall game. As for a release, Kobolds & Catacombs is currently set for a release this coming December and will be priced at $50 and will give players 50 card packs that they can add to their collection, and a “For The Hoard” card back.
