OnePlus hasn’t announced the OnePlus 5T officially as yet but the company has started posting teasers on social media that suggest the company will announce something soon. OnePlus posted a new teaser on Facebook earlier today which basically confirms that the upcoming handset is going to feature a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

It’s a growing trend in the flagship smartphone market for the headphone jack to be removed. This enables the manufacturers to free up more space inside the device for additional components or just to make the device slimmer.

The teaser that OnePlus has posted on Facebook today carries the caption “What do our phones have in common?” The accompanying image shows that the headphone jack has been constant on all handsets that the company has released so far.

OnePlus is yet to confirm when it’s going to unveil the OnePlus 5T. As far as the specifications are concerned, reports suggest that it will feature a 6 inch bezel-less display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood. It may also feature an upgraded dual camera system.

No word as yet on the pricing and availability of this device. It’s likely to be out soon given that OnePlus is no longer selling the OnePlus 5.
