Last year Fujifilm announced two new flagship mirrorless cameras that are top of the range as far as the company’s X-series of cameras are concerned. This included the X-Pro2 and the X-T2. Both cameras have since receive some high praise, but unfortunately their price makes it a bit out of reach for the casual photographer.

Now if you’re looking for a new Fujifilm mirrorless camera, the company’s X-A series is some of their more affordable cameras, and it looks like the next model coming up is the X-A5. In fact a recent post by Nokishita (via Fuji Rumors) has revealed the alleged schematics for the camera, which you can see in the image above.

While it’s hard to tell what camera it is just by looking at it, Nokishita believes that this could be the rumored X-A5 based on the button arrangements. However as Fuji Rumors points out, Fujifilm has registered for three cameras, one of which is the X-A5. The other two are rumored to be the X-T2 with IBIS and the X-T100 or the X-T80, but so far the consensus seems to be that this camera in question is the X-A5.

No word on when the camera will be officially announced, but it is said that it should be in a few months. Given that next year will have CES 2018 kick off in January does make that a possible venue, but at the same time CP+ is scheduled for March which is also another possibility, but until then take it with a grain of salt.
