If you’re in your late twenties or early thirties, or even older, and you’re confused by how Snapchat works and its UI, you’re not alone as there have been articles to suggest that Snapchat isn’t exactly very user-friendly. However as you might have heard, Snapchat has plans to change that by redesigning its app.

However as with most major redesigns, it can be a rather lengthy process and so there has not been a date set yet for the new app’s UI, at least until a recent report from Business Insider in which they have learnt from their sources that the redesigned Snapchat will be launched on the 4th of December.

Apparently Snap employees were notified of the upcoming changes, although the company has yet to officially confirm anything. At the moment it is unclear as to what the redesign will bring to the table, but Snap’s CEO Evan Spiegel seemed to hint that we could expect some kind of Facebook-like system.

It has also been suggested that the app will still launch with the camera open, but there will be some slight changes made to the UIs on the left and right of the camera. Either way take it with a grain of salt, but if the 4th of December rumor holds true then we should find out pretty soon.
