It was reported a few days back that Sprint might be thinking about offering free Hulu access to customers on its unlimited plan. Sprint was apparently going to do this as a response to T-Mobile’s offer of free Netflix to its subscribers. Sprint has officially announced today that its Unlimited Freedom plan customers now get a free subscription to Hulu as an added incentive.

Starting November 17th, Sprint Unlimited Freedom plan customers will receive a free Hulu Limited Commercials subscription. This incentive is being offered to all new and existing Sprint customers, they just need to sign up for this on Sprint’s website.

The Hulu Limited Commercials subscription will provide them with access to all of the content available on the streaming service. They will have to watch some ads as part of the deal but then again, nothing beats a free subscription. It doesn’t offer access to Hulu’s live TV streaming service.

Sprint’s Unlimited Freedom plans start at $60 per month for one line. Customers can get five lines for $100 until January 31st, 2019. They will get 10GB of data for each line. Sprint does say that those who take advantage of this offer will be given the opportunity to subscribe to Hulu’s live TV service as well but it’s yet to reveal more details about this.
