Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has received some pretty rave reviews ever since it was released. Metacritic gave it a 97/100, while other gaming review websites such as Destructoid, Edge, IGN, and GameSpot gave it a 10/10, which basically goes to say how great the game is.

This is why it doesn’t really come as a surprise to learn that at the 35th Golden Joystick Awards, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has managed to win the award of “Ultimate Game of the Year”. Many have praised the game’s open world concept, something which is new as far as the Zelda franchise is concerned.

Breath of the Wild has introduced a bunch of new elements to the game that we have not seen in previous Zelda titles, so as you can imagine, it was a bit of a breath of fresh air too. Nintendo still has plans for the game as the second DLC for the game is set to be released in December, with the first DLC having been released earlier in the year.

So far only two DLCs have been announced for Breath of the Wild and we’re not sure if there are more in the works, or perhaps a newer Zelda title, although if there is, it’ll be hard to top this.
