The thing about Sony’s smartphones is that while they might pack some pretty impressive hardware features and specs, the design can be a bit “boring” as they’ve more or less kept to the same design over the past few years, with some slight changes here and there. However that could change in 2018.

In a post by Vortex.ge (via PhoneArena), the alleged specs of the upcoming Sony flagship smartphones have been leaked. First of all we have to say that we have no idea if the photos are genuine or if they’re a fake because they do look particularly clean for leaks. Secondly they could simply be fan-made renders, so do take it with a grain of salt.

However if they are real, then we have to say that next year’s Sony smartphones should be pretty exciting. It seems that Sony will be embracing the bezel-less design for its 2018’s smartphones, and also a dual camera setup. The phones pictured above are two different models with two different camera setups, one of which is similar to the iPhone 8 Plus and its closely-grouped cameras, and the other features cameras that are set wider apart from each other.

However we have to say that they look pretty good, although one could be quite a fingerprint magnet. We’ve heard rumors regarding its specs as well, such as how it could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, which is admittedly a bit disappointing for a 2018 phone, but either way take it with a grain of salt for now, and hopefully with CES 2018 around the corner, we’ll find out soon enough.
