Technology that we can wear is definitely something that could happen in the future. In fact companies such as Google are working together with clothing makers on literal wearable tech. That being said, there is a company looking to hop on board called BEAM Authentic in which they have launched a “button” that you can wear on your clothes.

The device is called BEAM and like we said, it is essentially a button that you can pin onto your clothes. BEAM will feature a 400×400 AMOLED screen which can be used to display all kinds of things, such as GIFs, logos, and so on. It also comes with a function button which presumably will allow you to do certain things with your phone.

It also comes with built-in accelerometers, sensors, and a 24-hour battery life. We’re not sure what it could be used for, but presumably it does have some potential for advertising purposes. It could also be used at events, where its dynamic display could change according to the event which helps make it reusable, or it could simply be a novel fashion accessory.

However BEAM does not come cheap and is priced at $99, but if this is something you think you might be interested in, head on over to its website where for every purchase, $3 will go towards three selected charities.
