The US market is one of the markets that many companies would love to break into, and that’s apparently what Huawei is trying to do, according to a report from ETNews (via Wccftech). Now you might be thinking that Huawei’s phones can already be found in the market, so what’s the deal?

According to the report, apparently it seems that Huawei wants an “official” launch of sorts, where they will partner with a carrier (or various carriers) to launch a flagship smartphone. The report is claiming that so far Huawei is in talks with the likes of AT&T and Verizon, but no mention of whether Sprint or T-Mobile could be added to the mix at a later date.

As to what phones they might launch, apparently the Huawei Mate 10 is a possibility. In fact last month we heard the rumors that the Mate 10 could be an exclusive to AT&T, but since nothing official has been announced, it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now. That being said, Huawei’s “official” arrival in the US could be a big deal for the company.

Huawei has found a lot of success outside of the US, such as in various parts of Asia where they are doing pretty well. However should they arrive stateside, there is of course some stiff competition that they can expect from the likes of Apple and Samsung, just to name a few. We’re not sure when Huawei’s plans will be finalized, so check back with us in the future for more updates.
