We know that many have been waiting a long time for the second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix. The debut season was released in 2015, and early last year it was confirmed that a second season had been ordered, and a report from a couple of months ago also confirmed that it would arrive in 2018.

However for those looking for a specific date, you’ll be pleased to learn that Netflix has since released a teaser trailer for the the upcoming series, as well as share its official release date which is currently set for the 8th of March, 2018. This means that it has been three years since the first season, which is admittedly a rather long time to wait.

However Netflix has been busy churning out other Marvel TV shows, such as the second season of Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders miniseries, and more recently the Punisher series. This means that other Marvel shows looking for their next season’s release will have to wait in queue, although given that Luke Cage followed Jessica Jones in terms of a release, perhaps 2018 could bring about season 2 for the series as well (a second season has been confirmed, but no specific release dates yet).
