For those who love dinosaur movies, you guys must have been pretty chuffed when Jurassic World was released back in 2015, a good 14 years or so since the last movie, Jurassic Park 3. It’s not really a reboot of the franchise, but it did help breathe some new life into the series and based on the reviews, it was pretty well-received by pulling in over $1.6 billion in revenue.

This is why we can imagine that many are also probably excited for its sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The movie is currently slated for a release in 2018, and the good news is that is that if you’re looking for a hint at what’s to come, the official trailer for the upcoming movie has since been released.

According to the movie’s description, “When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.  Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission.”

The movie will see the return of two of the previous movie’s protagonists, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. It will also see BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles from the earlier Jurassic Park movies, with Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow serving as the movie’s executive producers, and J.A. Bayona as the movie’s director.
