At this point in time, it’s not really so much a question of “if”, but rather a question of “when” the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ will be launched, and also what it could look like. However what we’ve heard so far is that the upcoming handset is not expected to be too different from its predecessor, and a recent tweet seems to have “confirmed” it.

In a tweet by Samsungmobile.News, alleged renders of the upcoming Galaxy S9 have found their way online. There’s no way of knowing how legit these renders are, and for all we know they could simply be that of fan/concept renders, so obviously take it with a grain of salt. However they do seem to be in line with what we’ve been hearing.

This includes even slimmer bezels than before, and as you can see, the renders show off a display where the bottom bezel has been shaved off even more than in its predecessor. However with the potentially shaved bezels, we have to wonder if this could somehow affect the claims that Samsung will be maintaining its 18.5:9 display aspect ratio.

The renders also show off the alleged colors that the phone will be available in, which last we heard could be black, blue, gold, and purple, and they are also seemingly “confirming” that the Galaxy S9 could continue to keep its fingerprint sensor on the back, despite speculation that Samsung could shift to an in-display sensor.
