There have been rumors that there could be a Star Wars Edition for the OnePlus 5T, which is actually a pretty big deal as it represents a collaboration between OnePlus and a huge company (Disney) and a massive franchise. The good news for those looking for a new phone and who are fans of Star Wars is that it looks like the rumors were true.

OnePlus has officially taken the wraps off the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition smartphone, although it seems that for now the handset in question will be launched in India on the 14th of December, a day before The Last Jedi is scheduled for a release. The phone will feature a white finish with the Star Wars logo on the bottom at the back, and it will also come with what appears to be software customization options, like wallpapers, that are Star Wars related.

However other than that, the phone will most likely retain the same hardware specs and features as the regular OnePlus 5T. Unfortunately it does not mention if the handset will find its way to the US or other parts of the world, which would be a bit of a pity since we’re sure that there are many Star Wars fans out there who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on the phone, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled all the same.

Alternatively it seems that Samsung could be working on a Star Wars Galaxy Note 8, so that could be worth checking out in the near future as well.
