A couple of days ago, OnePlus officially took the wraps off the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition. There have been rumors about the handset which were confirmed when the phone was officially revealed, although at the time of unveiling, it seemed that the handset was limited to India. However the good news is that it appears that it will be launching in other markets as well.

It seems that OnePlus will also be bringing the Star Wars version of the OnePlus 5T to several Scandinavian markets, which includes Finland. Sweden, and Denmark. A popup launch event has been scheduled to take place at the Helsinki Tennis Palace on the 13th of December at 4PM local time, after which the following day will see the phone made available through physical Elisa stores and also the company’s official e-commerce website.

So far the Star Wars edition has been officially unveiled for India, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark, and there is no mention of whether it will find its way to Europe, other parts of Asia, or North America, but for the sake of Star Wars fans, hopefully it will. For those learning about this for the first time, the Star Wars edition is basically the OnePlus 5T with a fresh coat of paint.

It will feature some red accents along its physical buttons, a Star Wars logo at the bottom, and presumably Star Wars-related content, like wallpapers, ringtones, and so on. Other than that, the phone is expected to exactly the same hardware-wise as the normal OnePlus 5T.
