While MOBAs like League of Legends of DotA 2 might be arguably more popular than Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm, one of the cool things about the game is that it brings all of Blizzard’s franchises together under a single title. This means that if you’ve always been curious as to how Warcraft and Diablo characters might play together, this is it.

Now the good news for those of you who are still happily enjoying the game is that Blizzard has since announced a new unit they’ll be adding to the game. As you can see in the video above, the next character added to Heroes of the Storm will come in the form of StarCraft’s Firebat “Blaze”.

The character is expected to make its official debut in the game come January 2018, so if the Firebat was one of your favorite characters in StarCraft, you’ll soon be able to play him in Heroes of the Storm. The full extent of the character’s capabilities are still unknown at this point in time, but we expect that more will be revealed at a later date.

That being said, Blizzard probably still has quite a few more characters that they plan on adding in the game. It is unclear from which franchise they’ll be drawing from next, but in recent times we’ve seen them add characters from their latest IP, Overwatch.
