Last year Xiaomi launched its Mi Max 2 phablet which means that assuming Xiaomi is interested in continuing its Mi Max lineup, this year could see the launch of the Mi Miax 3. Thanks to a post on GizmoChina, it seems that a render of the upcoming handset has been leaked online.

The render initially appeared on Weibo, which is China’s equivalent of Twitter. It’s hard to tell what the phone’s design looks like just based on the back, but we can make out some potential features of the phone. For starters the dual camera setup on the back is pretty obvious. Given that it’s the direction that most seem to be headed towards these days, it doesn’t really come as a surprise.

Also on the back in the middle of the phone looks like a cutout for the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and also it seems that the phone could be offered in three different colors. Other than that it’s hard to make out how big the display is, but word has it that it will sport a 6.99-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

It is also said to pack a massive 5,500mAh battery which should last you at least a day, if not more. No word on when the phone will be launched, but with the Mi Max 2 unveiled in the middle of 2017, presumably that should be the case for its successor as well.
