Today Nintendo announced a bunch of games that they would be bringing over onto the Nintendo Switch. A lot of the games announced aren’t new titles per se, but rather ports of existing titles that were released on older Nintendo platforms, such as The World Ends With You and Hyrule Warriors.

In case that isn’t enough, Nintendo has also announced that Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will also be arriving on the Nintendo Switch. For those unfamiliar, Tropical Freeze was originally released on the Wii U console back in 2014, so like we said, this is a title that isn’t new per se, but if you didn’t play the Wii U version then we guess it would kind of be like a new game.

It is set for a release on the 4th of May and will also come with several features that will be exclusive to the Switch. This includes a beginner-friendly mode for those who aren’t used to the gameplay, so if you’re new to the franchise or found the Wii U release too difficult, then hopefully this addition will make your life a little easier.

No word on pricing of the game just yet, but we’ll keep an eye out for more details when the game is released in the coming months.
