Facebook is working hard to add exclusive media content to its Watch tab but it hasn’t been able to win over the big broadcasters completely just yet. It has scored a touchdown today, so to speak, as ESPN has announced that it’s adapting its popular First Take sports show for Facebook. ESPN is calling it First Take: Your Take, it’s an episodic digital show that will be driven by fan engagement. The first episode will premiere on Monday, January 29th and the show will be a Facebook Watch-exclusive.

Ahead of Super Bowl LII, ESPN is going to debut its first episodic digital show on Facebook Watch come January 29th. First Take: Your Take is going to be streamed thrice weekly exclusively on Facebook Watch.

ESPN says that the show’s exclusive content will be driven by viewer interaction and engagement. There will be traditional studio segments on Mondays with hosts Molly Qerim and featured commentators Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman debating the top news in sports.

Viewers can then share their own takes on the topics by uploading their videos to Facebook. Some of the videos will be packaged into the show’s episodes on Wednesdays. The third and final episode for the week will be streamed on Fridays and it will feature one lucky viewer debating directly with a First Take commentator.

“This engaging video experience is the first of its kind that takes the best of ESPN and marries it with the best of what the Facebook Watch platform has to offer,” said Dan Reed, the head of global sports partnerships at Facebook.

First Take: Your Take will be streamed on Facebook Watch exclusively. Users can add it to their Watchlists by heading over to the First Take: Your Take show page on Facebook.
