Back at E3 2016, Sony took the wraps off the latest God of War title that they were working on. The game has yet to be officially released, but it seems that we could be getting closer because according to a post on the Reset Era forums, GameStop has recently listed (it has since been taken down) a God of War Stone Mason Edition.

Basically this is a special copy of the game that will be bundled with various goodies in addition to the game, and we guess you could call it a Collector’s Edition. This will feature the game in question, a 9-inch statue of Kratos and Atreus by Gentle Giant, a limited Steelbook case, 2-inch Huldra Brothers carvings, an exclusive lithograph, a cloth map, Stone Mason’s Ring, Mimir’s Head Talking Keychain, and 2-inch Horse and Troll carvings.

There will also be some digital goodies in addition to the physical ones, such as various armor sets and shields, digital comics, and a dynamic theme. Of course none of these will come cheap as the entire bundle will be priced at $150. There is no word on when the game will be released, but Sony had recently hinted that these details will be announced soon. Like we said, the listing of the game on GameStop does seem to suggest that we could be getting closer, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled all the same.
