[CES 2018] There have been reports that Huawei is looking for a way to enter the US market with the Huawei Mate 10, and sure enough that has indeed happened. During the company’s press conference held at CES 2018, Huawei has confirmed that they will be launching the Mate 10 Pro, and the Mate 10 Porsche Design in the US.

The Mate 10 Pro’s specs will remain identical to the model that was launched last year, which in case you forgot will feature 6-inch 2160 x 1080 display, a Kirin 970 chipset, a dual camera setup that uses a 12MP color sensor combined with a 20MP black and white sensor, with an aperture of f/1.6. One of its defining features is its battery which is of the 4,000mAh variety that should last users a while.

As for the Porsche Design, this is essentially the same phone except with a different design compared to the Mate 10 Pro. It is clad in all black and will feature the use of glass, and a key difference is its storage where it comes with 256GB of storage versus 128GB of storage on the regular Mate 10 Pro.

In terms of pricing and availability, the Mate 10 Pro is available unlocked for $799 via the likes of Amazon, Best Buy, Microsoft, Newegg, and B&H starting on the 18th of February, with pre-orders opening on the 4th of February. Based on this it really does seem that the reports of AT&T backing off on a deal with Huawei were true. The Mate 10 Pro Porsche Design is priced at a premium where it will cost $1,225.
