If you’re a fan of the Zelda franchise, then you might have heard of Hyrule Warriors which is game based on the franchise that was released on both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U consoles. The good news is that if you loved it, Nintendo has announced that they will be bringing Hyrule Warriors onto the Nintendo Switch.

The company has announced Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition for the Switch, which is basically the complete version of the game with all of its DLCs. “The ultimate version of Hyrule Warriors is coming to Nintendo Switch this spring! Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition includes every map, character, mission and paid DLC from both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions, plus new outfits for Link and Zelda based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”

In a way this is similar to what Nintendo had done for Mario Kart 8, in which the Switch version was called “Deluxe” and came with all the DLCs that were previously released for the Wii U version of the game. Hyrule Warriors will support two player local multiple on a single console with split screen mode, which makes sense since the Switch only has one display.

In terms of a release date, there is no mention of it save that it will be released this year, so we guess gamers will just have to wait.
