Sprint has brought back a promotion that offers a year’s worth of free unlimited service to those who switch from their existing carrier and bring over their own device. The promotion is aimed at Verizon customers as the marketing materials tell them to “Stop feeling ripped off by Verizon.” Big Red customers can keep their Verizon handset as “save $900 in the first year,” according to Sprint.

This new promotion is similar to the one Sprint launched in the summer of last year. Sprint aggressively went after the customers of its rivals and it did help the company add more subscribers. The promotion lifted up Sprint’s quarterly results as it posted its first quarterly profit in three years in August 2017 and added 88,000 net postpaid subscribers.

This new promotional offer is available for both individual and families until the end of this month. Those who switch and bring over their device will free unlimited service, 10GB of high-speed hotspot data and international roaming, and HD video streaming.

Those who take advantage of this promotion will have to purchase a SIM card but won’t be required to pay activation fees. The offer will be valid for them until January 31st, 2019 after which their monthly prices will be $60 per month for the first line, $40 for the second, and $30 per month for lines 3-5.

Update: Sprint points out that this promotion has actually been available since June 2017 and remains a limited time offering.
