Tag Heuer launched the Connected Modular 45 smartwatch last year. The modular design approach meant that customers could choose from 56 versions of the new smartwatch. The total number of combinations that could be made with additional parts like bezel designs, lugs, and straps was over 500. Some customers may have shied away from purchasing this smartwatch due to its 45mm size but that will no longer be an issue because the company has launched a smaller version of its Connected Modular smartwatch.

As the name suggests, the new Connected Modular 41 swaps the 45mm case for a smaller 41mm. While it’s not quite the 39mm version that Tag Heuer CEO Jean-Claude Biver hinted it, it’s still considerably smaller than its predecessor.

The changes don’t end here. Tag Heuer has also added a new 390 x 390 AMOLED display and doubled the storage and RAM to 8GB and 1GB respectively. The smartwatch is still water resistant up to 50 meters and comes with GPS and NFC for Android Pay.

Prices for the Tag Heuer Connected Modular 41 start at $1,200 but given the wide variety of options available, one of these smartwatches can cost as high as $17,000. For that kind of money, you’re probably better of buying a mechanical watch from some of Tag’s more prestigious Swiss rivals.
