One of the concerns that gamers and investors had when the Nintendo Switch was launched was whether or not the console would face the issues that plagued the Wii U, which was a lack of games and a lack of consistent releases. However that doesn’t appear to be the case for the Switch, and in fact if anything, the console is about to get even more games.

In a recent tweet by an Ubisoft staff (via Nintendo Everything), they are teasing an upcoming announcement that will be related to Nintendo (and presumably the Switch). It is unclear as to what the announcement could be about, but given that there has been a rumor recently regarding South Park: The Fractured But Whole possibly coming to the Switch, perhaps it could be about that.

However it has also been speculated that the announcement could be about an Ubisoft game called Steep, which the same Ubisoft staff had confirmed back in August 2017 that the game had not been cancelled. So far Ubisoft has released several games for the Switch, such as Just Dance 2018 and also a collaboration with Nintendo in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

This announcement just means that we can look forward to more Ubisoft titles arrive on the Switch in the near future. Either way we guess this is something we’ll have to wait and see, so do be sure to check back with us in the next few days to see what Ubisoft’s announcement could be about.
