Fans of the Battlefield franchise will be anxiously looking forward to the new title that’s due to be released later this year. There isn’t a lot of information available about the title at this point in time but at least fans would like to know that the work on the 2018 Battlefield trailer has now begun. It has been confirmed that the 2018 Battlefield trailer has entered production.

The confirmation comes straight from DICE’s senior video and media director Randy Evans who tweeted that the 2018 Battlefield reveal trailer is now being produced.

This is good news for Battlefield fans as they will hopefully get to see the reveal trailer for the new game in the coming months. EA has already confirmed that the upcoming Battlefield title will be playable at its EA Play 2018 event which takes place in June.

Previous reports have suggested that this year’s Battlefield title will be the long-awaited sequel to Battlefield Bad Company 2 which was released back in 2010. No confirmation about this has come in so far from either EA or DICE.

For those who are unaware, EA Play is a free event that EA is conducting from June 8th to June 11th at the Hollywood Palladium. Attendees will be able to get their hands on several titles include upcoming games such as the 2018 Battlefield. EA also promises to give attendees an “inside look” at the upcoming Anthem game.
